Designed & Built by Rolf Spuler (), very sadly Rolf is no longer with us. We hope that in some small way this guitar will be a testament to his genius & creativity.

It is in excellent original condition with an original Paradis Polysubbass unit & the original factory supplied guitar connection cord. The guitar also has the factory original flightcase. Everything works & the guitar sounds superb.

Frameworks 7-string and Polysubbass – paradis-guitars forums

I do have a cable Rolf Spuler gave me to use with Roland equipment – on one side the Neutrik connector, on the other end the Roland 13-pin connector.

Using my Avalon with the Polysubbass and the Polysubbass connected with this cable to a Roland GR-55 guitar synth I am able to get the amp simulations and effects of the GR-55.

However, connecting a Frameworks guitar and the Polysubbass with this cable doesn’t work.
Is it possible to use the Polysubbass with a Frameworks guitar or another guitar equipped with the Roland 13pin socket?

this is an interesting idea
it does not work now because of the supply:
– the original DIN13-Neutrik cable you mention contains no supply wire
– I use my Elegy with StringPort with a cable that has a diode in it to make sure that no one sends the 12V from the Polysubbass to some Roland equipment (which probably would not survive)
– it should be possible with a special split cable to feed a GR guitar from the Roland synth and connect the Polysubbass in parallel

but:
the Roland has a lower signal level than the Paradis, so the Polysubbass may cut the end of the bass note

but:
I just talked to Tom about creating a Polybass module that works with the Roland standard. its rather easy but not easy enough to modify the old ones.

Paradis Avalon Spuler Gitarre, sehr selten, neuwertig mit CITES und Polysubbass 

 Beschreibung

Ich verkaufe hier eine Paradis-Gitarre “Avalon” , Mahagoni-Korpus, Rio-Palisander-Hals mit Nylonbesaitung und Polysubbass. Diese Gitarre ist 1995 von Rolf Spuler in der Schweiz gebaut worden und ist nur im Haus gespielt worden. Ich habe insgesamt 4 solcher Gitarren, habe sie allesamt mit CITES-Bescheinigungen ausstatten lassen, so dass Sie hier eine legale Gitarre erwerben, die vom Umweltbundesamt für Artenschutz in Sachen tropische Hölzer ordnungsgemäß registriert worden ist. Die Gitarre wurde technisch und vom Holz her im Support-Betrieb begutachtet und es ist alles in Ordnung und in fast unbespieltem Zustand. Ein neuwertiger Polysubbass nebst Kabeln und auch Ersatz-Pickups liegen im Spezial-Flightcase dabei, ebenfalls ein Original Stereo-Volumenpedal. Ich bitte nur um ernsthafte Anfragen und ernsthaftes Interesse! Das Instrument wird nicht versendet. Die Gitarre kann südlich von Mainz bei mir über eine Klein- oder Großanlage angespielt werden und hier erworben werden. Wer eine Rolf Spuler Gitarre sucht, kennt alle Details und weiß, was er/sie sucht. Der Preis ist Verhandlungssache.

Noch etwas: Sowieso klar, diese Gitarre ist auch mit allen Synthesizern und VG-Geräten kompatibel. Und das dann noch mit Polysubbass…. ein Traum an Klang !
